Diferente: La emocionante aventura de la santidad

Aunque a algunos les cueste confesarlo, hablar de santidad no siempre suena positivo. De hecho, para las nuevas generaciones suena a una larga lista de cosas que no se deben hacer. Sin embargo, esa no es la perspectiva de Dios. «Diferente, La emocionante aventura de la santidad» muestra que en las enseñanzas de Jesús se descubre claramente que la santidad tiene más que ver con lo que hacemos que con lo que no hacemos. Los evangelios nos cuentan más de lo que Jesús sí hizo que de lo que dejó de hacer y por eso ser santos como él es santo tiene que ver con hacer lo que en nuestro lugar hubiera hecho Jesús. Vivir como él vivió. Desde esta perspectiva: la santidad es emocionante. Es el camino más inteligente, el de personas plenas, jóvenes que marcan una diferencia positiva en la sociedad y sueños cumplidos. Though it may be hard for some to admit, talking about holiness is not always a positive thing. In fact, for the younger generations, it sounds like a long list of things they should not do. Yet this is far from Gods perspective.

Jesus teachings clearly reveal that holiness has more to do with what we do than with what we do not do. The Gospels tell us more about what Jesus did than about what he avoided doing; thus, being holy as he is holy lies in doing what he would do if he were in our place: living as he lived.

From this perspective, holiness is exciting. It is the smarter path, the route taken by people pursuing fulfillment and by young people making a positive difference in society and seeing their dreams come true.
