Seguirazgo

Seguirazgo: (sustantivo) El acto de seguir y liderar simultáneamente.
A lo largo del mundo, se escriben libros acerca del "líder fuerte" que vence a su oposición con una mera mirada. En el púlpito, se ve mucho el fenómeno del líder macho, intocable, casi no humano. Pero el liderazgo que Dios ha levantado tiene como fin principal servir a otros. Como el de Jesús, es un liderazgo compartido en donde por muy alta que sea la posición el líder todavía entiende que es saludable darles cuentas a otros. Los líderes verdaderos saben seguir para poder entonces liderar. Esta frase no necesariamente tiene que ser consecutiva: mientras lideran, pueden y deben seguir a otros. La idea no es pasar algún tiempo siguiendo para luego dejarlo para poder liderar. Seguimos siguiendo para poder liderar.

Seguirazgo: (noun) The act of leading and following simultaneously.
Throughout the world, books are written about the "strong leader" who can stare down opposition. In the pulpit, the lofty leader phenomenon of macho, untouchable, almost un-human leadership is often seen. But the leadership standard God has raised up concentrates on serving others. Like Jesus', it is a shared leadership in which regardless of how high the leader's position is, he or she understands the need to be accountable. True leaders learn how to follow in order to be able to lead. The phrase is not necessarily consecutive: while they lead, leaders can and should follow others. The idea is not to spend a bit of time following and later graduate to leading only. In order to lead, we keep following.
